Field Trips & Classroom Resources
Teaching history is one of our greatest honors. HSQAC offers two robust, interactive field trips to every school in Adams County: the History Museum on the Square and the John Wood Mansion. At the Museum, students trace Quincy's role in the Civil War and underground railroad, hearing just how important our citizens were in the fight for freedom. The John Wood Mansion offers a glimpse into Quincy's beginnings, letting students see how our earliest residents lived, worked, and built our community.
Our experienced educators also offer additional classroom resources and fully customized tours to support your curriculum.
Step Beyond The Book

- Direct access to primary sources and artifacts
