A Look Back at Quincy & Adams County
Our mission to preserve Adams County and Quincy history comes to life through our extraordinary collection of local artifacts and archives. We preserve these precious pieces of history—photographs, letters, furniture, tools, and more—as tangible connections to our community's past. At both of our sites, these collections help tell the fascinating story of how our community has grown and changed. As stewards of these historical treasures, we recognize that preserving our past is essential to understanding our present and building our future.
Our history is your history. HSQAC is also home to a research library documenting the history of the area’s buildings, families, and institutions.
