Invest In Quincy & Adams County's Past

From John Wood's frontier life to the thriving communities of today, Quincy and Adams County's history runs deep through every street and story. HSQAC preserves these stories in our historic spaces: the elegant John Wood Mansion, the humble log cabin that recalls our earliest days, our working livery, and the History Museum on the Square.

But we do more than protect buildings – we give voice to the diverse experiences that shaped our community.

The Underground Railroad, protection of Mormon refugees, first-hand historical accounts – your membership helps us uncover, preserve, and share these stories and our area’s most priceless artifacts. Your membership makes sure every chapter of our history is honored and remembered well into the future.
